There are several drug names which can sound like other drug names. This can result in confusion and potentially harmful medication errors. While there are different types of drug names, brand names are most often confused.
Whenever you are prescribing a medicine on phone, always pronounce the alphabets so that there is no confusion for the patient, and also to avert any medication errors.
